Welcome to FriendsMind:

Register, Login and create your first Page:

    1. Register - It's free (and validate by clicking on the activation email sent to you)
    2. Login to your account
    3. You will be taken to your first Friendsmind "Page" where you can create .
    4. While saving the page, make sure you have the Read/Write access to the page set to who you want to read and write to the page. If you want just your friends to read/write, set it to Friends.

 Invite your friends to join:

    1. Go to Tools->Friends->Invite Friensd

    2. You can also send Friends invites to a list of emails

    3. You can also search for Friends and add them to your Frend List

    4. Once you add a Friend, the Friend has to accept the invite to add you as his/her friend.

Create your own Group:
    1. Go to Tools->Groups->Create Group
    2. Invite friends to join the Group
Uplaod Photos:
    1. Go to Tools->Photos
    2. Create a new Album
    3. Please upload judiciously, no objectionable/copyrighted material

Setting Permissions to your Pages/Photos etc:

    1. Set the Permissions (Read and Write Access) to:

       -  Public (anyone can see or modify the page)
       -  Friends (only you friends can see or modify the page)
       - Logged-in users (anyone logged in can see or modify your page).
    2. For Group posts, you can set the Read/Write persmissions to Group only

 

Customize your dashboard:

    1. Click on "Dashboard" at the top
    1. On your blank Dashboard, click on Edit Page to start adding Tools (widgets) to your Dashboard 
    2. You will now see a list of Widgets on the right side. Drag the Widget tools you would like on your Dashboard onto the Left, Middle or Right widget area.   
    3. For example, you might want to have the Pages widget on the left, the Friends, Activity and Friends Activity on the middle and other tools like Twitter on the right.
    4. Now you have customized your Dashboard. Click on Save. You are done setting up your dashboard
